Volunteer Orientation
Welcome to the Delaware County Historical Society Volunteer Orientation
Thank you for volunteering with The Delaware County Historical Society. We have prepared this orientation to give you the knowledge about the Historical Society that will help you in your volunteer activities with The Society.
There are five components to the orientation; four videos (below) that have been designed to give you information about our organization and it’s history, and about our facilities. The fifth will be a Zoom Meeting to give you a tour of The Cryder Research Library and an Introduction to PastPerfect, our collection, membership, volunteer, and donation software system. We will post the dates for the Zoom Tour on our website and we will send invitations with a link to Zoom
We suggest that you view the Volunteer Orientation video first because it gives you a broad picture of the Historical Society. Then watch the History of the Society. Following that view the Meeker Tour and the Nash House Tour, which give you insight into the great work that our volunteers are doing.
The Zoom Tour of Cryder and of PastPerfect will be scheduled and an invitation will be sent to you by e-mail.
