Program: The Search for Lost Fort Morrow
by Reg Langford
Reg Landford, an employee of the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources, went on a venture to find the remains of Fort Morrow. Fort Morrow was a frontier fort from the War of 1812. Its exact location was lost – unknown – until Reg Langford discovered it in 1974.
After Adjournment
All were invited to enjoy refreshments and conversation. Of particular interest was a table display that our speaker had prepared. Reg Langford brought a number of artifacts from the Fort Morrow site. The display also included a model of what Fort Morrow may have looked before it was “lost”. The display generated a much conversation and provided wonderful enhancement to the presentation.
